Regulatory Reporting – Regulatory Reporting Specialist 100% (f/m/d)
The Regulatory Reporting Specialist (m/f/d) is responsible for the monthly preparation of regulatory reports for Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. and Julius Baer Group Ltd. and also provides support for projects. The position requires experience in financial accounting and knowledge of IFRS and RV (Swiss banking GAAP).
Job description
Tasks
- Preparation of regulatory reports, including FINMA, capital and liquidity calculations
- Preparation of ad hoc analyses and special reports, including narrative commentary
- Support in preparing Basel III Pillar 3 disclosure reports
- Documentation of closing processes, mainly in English
- Provision of specialized regulatory reporting support for international locations worldwide
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with internal controls
Project tasks (approx. 10%)
- Support in creating functional specifications and testing functional and technical adjustments in the regulatory reporting application (Axiom)
- Support in implementing new regulatory requirements with regard to SNB statistical reporting, capital adequacy, and liquidity reporting
- Analysis and continuous optimization of existing processes
Requirements
- Education in finance or business administration
- Several years of professional experience in banking accounting required
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and RV (Swiss banking law)
- Understanding of Basel III capital and liquidity frameworks is an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office, experience with AxiomSL is an advantage
- Previous project experience is an advantage
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken. Fluency in German is an advantage.
