Regulatory Reporting - Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

The position involves supporting and executing financial operations, contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes through sound analysis. The main responsibilities lie in the areas of regulatory reporting, including:

• Preparation of ad hoc analyses and special reports, including narrative commentary
• Support in preparing the annual Basel III Pillar 3 disclosure reports
• Comprehensive documentation of closing processes, mainly in English
• Provision of specialist support for regulatory reporting at international locations worldwide
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with internal controls

project tasks

Approximately 20% of working hours are spent on project tasks, including:

• Support in creating functional specifications and test runs for functional and technical adjustments in the regulatory reporting application (Axiom)
• Representation of Regulatory Reporting as a business partner in various IT projects and in the introduction of new banking products
• Support in implementing new regulatory requirements with regard to SNB statistical reporting, capital adequacy, and liquidity reporting
• Analysis and continuous optimization of existing processes

Requirements

The following qualifications and experience are expected for this position:

• Higher financial or business education
• Several years of professional experience in bank accounting is required.
• Previous project experience in financial accounting, particularly in the regulatory area, is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of IFRS and RV (Swiss banking GAAP)
• Knowledge of the Basel III capital and liquidity frameworks (LCR, NSFR)
• Proven experience in the commercial implementation of new banking products
