Relationship Manager based in Singapore (Japanese speaking)
The Relationship Manager at Julius Baer in Singapore is responsible for serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients and providing them with comprehensive wealth management solutions. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of client needs, and the ability to act as an ambassador for the bank.
Your challenge
The position of Relationship Manager includes the following tasks:- Responds to all customer needs in a timely and professional manner
- Ensures consistently high levels of customer satisfaction by adjusting the frequency and intensity of contact to customer preferences
- Provides appropriate investment advice in accordance with the bank's guidelines and asset allocation specialists within the bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to market trends.
- Takes charge of proactively delivering customer feedback regarding products and services to the appropriate departments
- Participates in the development and implementation of customer initiatives and new marketing strategies and supports ad hoc projects as requested by management (team leader and/or others).
Customer and prospect management
The Relationship Manager is responsible for proactively developing and maintaining a portfolio of high-net-worth and/or ultra-high-net-worth clients:- Employs a collaborative team approach, including the appropriate use of specialists, to proactively develop and deliver comprehensive asset management solutions
- Continuously deepens customer relationships and optimizes earnings by acquiring new customers and increasing the share of sales/cross-selling.
- Proactively manages customer risks and develops a succession strategy to mitigate churn risks and generational transfer losses
- Accepts new processes and product initiatives and utilizes available tools in daily business
Risk management
The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day business risk and is an integral part of the first line of defense. The Relationship Manager ensures a strong culture of compliance, ethical behavior, and sound risk management practices, including:- Implements and achieves an appropriate "first-time-right" culture, including high KYC quality, positive control results, and high-quality documentation of CCN via the 5 Ws
- Ensures timely resolution of outstanding items, alerts, notifications, training, and/or conditions, resulting in fewer overdue items
- Keeps an eye on risk hotspots/annual fees and/or incidents and is aware of the necessary measures
- Ensures compliance with rules and guidelines and the "principles of good governance"
