Relationship Manager - Client Team, Singapore
The job posting seeks a Relationship Manager for the Client Team in Singapore who will build new client relationships and manage existing ones to support the growth of Syngum, a global digital asset banking company. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management in the financial sector.
Tasks
As a Relationship Manager, you can expect to perform the following tasks:- Client Sourcing and Networking: Proactively identify, approach, and nurture new client relationships through targeted industry networking, strategic outreach, and participation in relevant ecosystem forums.
- Client Management: Manage a portfolio of potential and existing clients by setting priorities, anticipating needs, and providing timely, high-quality responses across the entire range of services.
- End-to-End Client Onboarding: Manage and coordinate the entire onboarding lifecycle, and collaborate effectively with legal, compliance, operations, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient client onboarding process.
- CRM & Pipeline Ownership: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and strategically useful CRM records of all client interactions.
- Market and Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth expertise in the crypto and digital asset landscape, including Syngum’s differentiated offerings, market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate:- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred. Advanced qualifications such as a master’s degree, an MBA, or CFA certification are advantageous.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management within the financial services industry or related sectors.
- Skills & Competencies: Proven consultative approach with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a high standard of accuracy.
- Client Onboarding & Relationship Management: Direct experience managing end-to-end client onboarding and supporting ongoing relationship lifecycle needs.
- Communication & Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese or another major APAC language is a plus.
