Relationship Manager for SEA Market

The Relationship Manager is the primary contact for high net worth/ultra high net worth clients and is responsible for proactively managing their portfolios and delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions. The incumbent acts as an ambassador for the bank and is responsible for maintaining client relationships and acquiring new clients.

Job description

Tasks

  • Active monitoring of client investment portfolios and collateral situations
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by adapting the frequency and intensity of contact to customer preferences
  • Working as part of a team (including the appropriate use of specialists) to develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions for clients
  • Acquisition of new customer relationships through our own network and deepening of existing customer relationships (attracting a higher share of customer assets)
  • Responsibility for providing customer feedback on products and services to the relevant people/departments within the bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to market trends
  • Compliance with the Bank's internal policies and practices and all relevant industry rules and regulations

Business Management

  • Development and implementation of new marketing strategies in cooperation with the group/team leaders
  • Adoption of new processes and product initiatives
  • Participation in ad hoc projects, if necessary through the group/team leaders
  • Promotion of discipline and good working practices (including adherence to deadlines and regulatory requirements, and fulfillment of documentation requirements)
  • Compliance with all Julius Baer and industry rules and regulations for private banking

  • Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards of honesty and integrity, care and diligence, fair treatment (fair treatment of clients), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Professional experience

  • Proven track record in managing a client book and acquiring new relationships
  • Solid affinity with the geographic market(s) to be covered
  • Language skills and cultural awareness

  • Working knowledge of IT, systems, and/or technical working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Regulatory (if applicable)

  • MAS-registered/appointed representative
