Relationship Manager (Hong Kong)

The Relationship Manager (Hong Kong) is responsible for servicing High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients and delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions. The role requires excellent communication and advisory skills as well as a deep understanding of global financial markets.

Job description: Relationship Manager (Hong Kong)

Tasks

  • The Relationship Manager (RM) is the main point of contact between the customer and the bank.
  • He/she acts as an external ambassador for the bank and is responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a portfolio of high net worth and/or ultra high net worth clients.
  • He/she delivers comprehensive wealth management solutions to meet the needs of clients.

Customer and risk management

  • RM serves clients with the highest quality standards and represents Julius Baer's prestigious market position as a pure-play wealth manager.
  • He/she responds to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • He/she ensures that customers are satisfied and adapts the frequency and intensity of contact to customer preferences.
  • He/she provides appropriate investment advice in accordance with the Bank's guidelines and asset allocation.

Risk and customer management (continued)

  • The RM is responsible for proactively developing and maintaining a portfolio of high net worth and/or ultra high net worth clients.
  • He/she employs a collaborative team approach, including the appropriate use of specialists, to develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions for clients.
  • He/she continuously deepens customer relationships and optimizes revenue by acquiring new customers and increasing wallet/cross-selling.

Compliance and risk management

  • The RM is responsible for daily business risk monitoring and is an integral part of the first line of defense.
  • He/she ensures that there is a strong culture of compliance, ethical behavior and sound risk management practices.
  • He/she implements and achieves an appropriate "first time right" culture, including high K'IC quality, positive control results, and high-quality documentation of CDAs via 360°.

  • Sound commercial judgment and knowledge of global financial markets
  • Ability to combine customer requirements with suitable product solutions
  • willingness to travel
  • Relevant regulatory licenses of HKMA/SFC
  • Certification as a Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) preferred

  • This position is an MRC-in-scope position under the Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (MRC Scheme), which requires applicants to undergo reference checks from previous and/or current employers (authorized institutions) for the last seven years.
