Relationship Manager (Hong Kong)

The Relationship Manager at Julius Baer in Hong Kong is responsible for proactively and autonomously managing a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients and is expected to offer comprehensive wealth management solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and experience in client care and acquiring new relationships.

Tasks

The Relationship Manager Private Banking (RM) is the primary point of contact between the client and the bank. He/she acts as an external ambassador for the bank and is responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a portfolio of high net worth and/or ultra high net worth clients. This includes providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to meet client needs, as well as dealing with:
  • Responds to all customer needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensures that customer satisfaction remains at a high level by adjusting the frequency and intensity of contact to customer preferences
  • Provides appropriate investment advice in accordance with the bank's guidelines and asset allocation
  • Responsible for proactively communicating customer feedback regarding products and services to the relevant specialists within the bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to market trends.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of customer initiatives and new marketing strategies and supports ad hoc projects as requested by management (team leaders and/or others).

Risk management and customer administration

The RM is responsible for proactively developing and maintaining a portfolio of high net worth and/or ultra high net worth clients.
  • Employs a collaborative team approach, including the appropriate use of specialists, to proactively develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions
  • Continuously deepens customer relationships and optimizes earnings by acquiring new customers and increasing market share/cross-selling.
  • Proactively manages customer risks and develops a succession strategy to minimize churn risks and losses due to generational change.
  • Accepts new processes and product initiatives and utilizes available tools in daily business
