Relationship Manager (Hong Kong)

The Relationship Manager (Hong Kong) is responsible for servicing High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients and is expected to develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions. The role also includes identifying and managing risks and ensuring compliance standards.

Job description: Relationship Manager (Hong Kong)

Tasks

Customer orientation

  • Responds to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction by adapting the frequency and intensity of communication to customer preferences
  • Provides appropriate investment advice in accordance with bank policies and asset allocation
  • Forwards customer feedback on products and services to the appropriate specialists within the bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to market trends
  • Participates in the development and implementation of client initiatives and new marketing strategies and supports ad hoc projects as required by management (team leader and/or others)

Customer and brochure management

  • Is responsible for proactively developing and maintaining a portfolio of High Net Worth and/or Ultra High Net Worth clients
  • Applies a collaborative team approach, including the appropriate utilization of specialists, to proactively develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions for clients
  • Continuously deepens customer relationships and optimizes revenues through acquisition of new customers and additional share of wallet/cross-selling
  • Proactively manages client risks and develops a succession strategy to mitigate attrition risks and losses on generational handover
  • Embraces new processes and product initiatives and makes diligent use of available tools in daily business

Risk management

  • Identifies, assesses risks in decisions and considers future outcomes in light of the applicable risk level, takes full responsibility and provides risk mitigation measures
  • Raises concerns, tracks issues and escalates issues in a timely manner to front line team leaders/front line management or second line of defense
  • Promote collaborative and proactive exchange processes with the relevant risk, compliance and legal functions
  • Ensures compliance with rules and guidelines as well as the "Principles of Good Conduct"
