Relationship Manager
Julius Baer is seeking a Relationship Manager in St. Peter Port who specializes in acquiring and servicing high-net-worth clients in the Guernsey market. The position requires at least six years of sales experience as well as in-depth knowledge of local market and regulatory conditions.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Proactively acquiring and developing relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), primarily from the Guernsey market
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and increase revenue
- Building and maintaining a strong network of relationships with potential and existing clients, as well as other stakeholders, to generate referrals and introductions
- Developing and implementing a strategic business plan to achieve individual and team goals, setting objectives, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies as needed
- Creating and delivering targeted pitches and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting Julius Baer's unique value proposition and services
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as Investment Management, Advisory Solutions, and Product Specialists, to develop and promote innovative solutions and services that meet the evolving needs of HNWIs and UHNWIs
- Staying up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Introducing the Bank's products and services to prospective clients, providing customized investment solutions, and cross-selling relevant offerings
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new marketing strategies, initiatives, and events to support business growth and brand awareness
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members to develop their business development skills and contribute to the team's growth objectives
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and stakeholders

Professional and Technical
- Have obtained or be studying toward the Investment Advice Diploma, Level 4, or its equivalent within the agreed timeframe
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Relevant higher education and professional background, e.g., FH HWW University or a banking apprenticeship, combined with an appropriate professional qualification
- Experience in business development and sales
- Proven track record in establishing new client relationships
- Sound affinity with the geographic market(s) to be covered:
- Linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness
- Familiar with the legal and regulatory environment
- A solid understanding of global financial markets and current events
- Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions
