Relationship Manager (Liechtenstein)

The Relationship Manager (Liechtenstein) at Sygnum is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships in the digital asset space and is expected to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships through strategic networking and business development. The position requires experience in client service or relationship management as well as a strong interest in business development and sales.

Job description: Relationship Manager (Liechtenstein)

Tasks

  • Establishing and maintaining (new) customer relationships across all private, corporate and institutional segments through strategic networking and industry integration.
  • Drive business development by developing new prospects and managing a robust pipeline to anticipate and fulfill customer needs (including digital asset transactions, order flows, etc.).
  • Managing the entire client relationship, from initial contact to smooth onboarding, working closely with Legal & Compliance, Operations and external partners.
  • Provide customized, solution-oriented support services to clients, including transactions and trade orders, product and technical support, contract modifications and operational requests; complete and coordinate client feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Asset Management and Trading to create customized proposals for clients.
  • Staying at the forefront of the cryptocurrency market landscape by deeply understanding Sygnum's offering and competitive strengths, staying abreast of digital asset trends and regulatory developments, attending conferences, actively building and maintaining a strong network of institutional and professional contacts.

Requirements

  • BSc/BBA in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • MSc/MA/CA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in client service or relationship building with private and/or institutional clients.
  • Evidence of successful business development with a "hunter mentality" combined with a strong sales mindset and a results-oriented approach to winning and expanding customer relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with client onboarding (both private individuals and legal entities), including a deep understanding of European banking regulation and AML/CFT compliance frameworks.
  • Combination of consultative and analytical skills, with careful attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with teams across locations.
  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English. German language skills are a plus.
  • Very good organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
