Relationship Manager Private Banking UHNW - UK International market -100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Relationship Manager Private Banking for ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients in the UK International market to proactively develop and manage a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing sophisticated clients and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Job description
Tasks
- Proactively develop and maintain a UHNW portfolio of clients with a focus on the UK international market
- Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with customers through regular and personal contact
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Determination and assessment of the client's financial situation and overall goals
- Providing general wealth management services to clients, in particular by formulating integrated solutions (legal, tax, financial, etc.) based on client objectives
- Management of client assets in accordance with the investment principles and in coordination with the "Advisory Solutions" and "Investment Management" departments
- Close monitoring of developments on the financial markets and adjustment of the investment strategy if necessary
- Introduction of banking products and services for clients through the provision of customized investment solutions
- Ensuring adherence to and compliance with regulatory procedures
Requirements
- Proven track record of winning new UHNW relationships through existing network in the UK international market
- At least 10 years' experience advising sophisticated UK clients, managing large books in a private banking financial institution
- Investment advisory skills and experience in local equities, bonds and extensive knowledge of derivative instruments; portfolio management expertise would be a plus
- Broad knowledge of global financial markets, the economy and current events
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
- In-depth knowledge of the UK market, including the legal and regulatory framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as great negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Recent experience of living and working in the UK would be an advantage, but at least connections in the UK market are essential
