Relationship Manager, Private Market Data & Analytics - Associate

BlackRock is seeking a Relationship Manager for the Private Market Data & Analytics team who will serve as the point of contact for stakeholders in the analytics field and identify business needs, priorities, and risks. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in investment management, data operations, or financial analysis and possesses strong analytical and communication skills.

BlackRock’s Aladdin Data organization serves as the custodian of all data critical to BlackRock’s investment decision-making process and its industry-leading Aladdin end-to-end investment platform. By working closely with stakeholders across portfolio management, global capital markets, risk analytics, portfolio company reporting, and relationship management, Aladdin Data ensures that business data needs are met with accuracy, timeliness, and excellence.

About the role

We are looking for a high-performing individual to join the Private Data & Analytics program—known internally as the Private Hypercare Team—within Aladdin Data. This team provides advanced, high-quality post-implementation support to Private Financing Solutions (PFS) business units, covering both private loan and private equity portfolios.

Key aspects of the role

- Business Engagement and Relationship Management: - Serve as a trusted partner for PFS stakeholders in the field of analytics. - Proactively identify business needs, priorities, and risk areas to ensure continuity and confidence in Aladdin’s private credit analytics capabilities. - Request and Issue Resolution: - Provide timely triage, clear accountability, and comprehensive coordination for data and analytics requests/issues; resolve issues with urgency and accountability. - Production Quality Control Partnership: - Work closely with the quality control monitoring team to assess exceptions, communicate prioritized items, and implement corrective actions to maintain daily production stability. - Governance and Operational Rhythm: - Maintain a structured issue log; participate in regular review meetings and track all open items until resolution—to ensure transparency and clear accountability at all levels.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in investment management, data operations, or financial analytics; experience with private credit or private equity is a strong plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to triage and resolve complex data issues in a fast-paced production environment. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—comfortable engaging with various business partners and translating technical issues into business-relevant updates. - Familiarity with Aladdin or comparable investment management platforms is desirable. - A collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability, and the ability to foster connectivity across regional offices and teams. - Ability to learn new concepts and processes while managing multiple work streams simultaneously with structured attention to detail. - High levels of adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and professional maturity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

We offer

- For New York, NY: The salary range for this position is $115,000.00–$147,500.00. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits. - For Princeton, NJ: The salary range for this position is $105,000.00–$132,000.00
