Relationship Officer Team Lead
The Relationship Officer Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Relationship Officers and MCOs to ensure optimal client relationship management. The focus will be on managing difficult conversations with clients, monitoring controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and global standards.

Tasks
- Lead a team of 6-10 Relationship Officers and 1-2 MCOs to ensure that client relationships are well managed
- Managing difficult conversations with customers
- Ability to challenge and propose funding 'trajectory' whilst adhering to strict controls, P&Ls and constructive ADP
- Managing a substantial, focused and motivated team as part of the business growth plan
- Building and maintaining meaningful working relationships with key stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Ensure the team adheres to the highest standards of customer service integrity by proactively identifying customer requirements and reports
- Monitoring the timely closure of accounts and compliance with internal guidelines and global standards
- Management of transaction controls, exception reporting, investigations, control calls and P/CFC verification
- Provision of profit & loss reports for bank exit accounts and ad hoc analysis of P&L and RWA against targets
- Provide timely updates on new customer onboarding initiatives for MCO/RSC
- Management of GS/IT&C/Fin (e.g. Excel) for the creation of ad-hoc reports
- Ensure that deal documents are forwarded to the billing department
- Maintaining a good level of changes and account movements
- Identify systemic and procedural failures when alerts are sent to Risk and take responsibility for the closure process
- Support for the Closing Simplification Initiative and participation in the global Closing Simplification Initiative
Requirements
- Ability to innovate and deliver high performance for yourself, the team and the goals set
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong written and verbal skills; fluent in English; Spanish, German or Portuguese are a plus
- Professional experience as a Relationship Officer or similar
- Good general skills or a mix of process and resilience skills
- Knowledge of banking products and processes
