Tasks and responsibilities

Client Service

  • Support private bankers in executing various aspects of the relationship management initiative with their respective client base and prospects.
  • Research, track and resolve client inquiries and issues through effective interaction with clients, bankers, investors, product specialists, operations and other staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the client base to become an additional point of contact for clients on all account management matters, including account management, products, portfolio analysis and market intelligence.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and escalate to bankers and product partners to close them or provide advice to the customer.
  • Achieve a high level of product knowledge, internal processes and sales execution.
  • Participate in the execution of client instructions, perform account opening procedures, prepare and collect documentation from clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsibility for ensuring efficient processing and timely and accurate execution of customer instructions.
  • Proactive monitoring of customer account status and reporting of irregularities.
  • Function as an important contact person, both externally and internally, for daily operational inquiries from customers.
  • Building strong partnerships with other areas of the bank to ensure a high-quality service for all customers.

Control

  • Checking customer documentation for completeness and accuracy as an initial quality control.
  • Closely monitor all trades and perform accurate cash management to avoid unnecessary problems in the account management process.
  • Identification and consistent implementation of measures to avoid or correct practices and procedures that do not conform to compliance standards or regulations.
  • Daily review of trades, transaction activities and monthly closings as an additional quality control.
  • Tracking of trade execution (quality control).
  • Analyze and resolve customer transactions or issues with minimal supervision.
  • Training to develop the ability to service the largest accounts or solve the most complex problems.
  • Compliance with anti-money laundering and banking secrecy legislation and related principles, laws, rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Series 7 required.
  • Three or more years of experience in customer service, operations or private client relationship management support.
  • Advanced knowledge of account management procedures.
  • Above-average knowledge of private banking products and services.
  • Solid knowledge of sales tools and applications such as Bloomberg, Olympic and MS Office.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Very good knowledge of English.
