Job description

As a Reputation Risk Officer within Global Private Bank, you will support the business in assessing and managing reputational risks when onboarding new clients and reviewing transactions or during periodic reviews. You will analyze multiple sources of information to assess risks brought to your attention by front office teams and work closely with front office teams to provide expert advice on identifying and mitigating reputational risks. Your work will ensure that the bank's integrity is maintained and its reputation is protected in a dynamic and high-risk environment.

Tasks

  • Conducting in-depth analyses and risk assessments, recommending strategies to mitigate reputational risks.
  • Implementation of company-wide reputation risk policies and standards within the legal entity, support for the Global Head of Asset & Wealth Management.
  • Coordination with Global Financial Crimes Compliance and Front Office to ensure coordinated risk treatment.
  • Preparation of reports and recommendations for senior management on important reputation risk issues.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns, and promoting coordinated risk management.
  • Conducting training and providing advice on reputational risks, including escalation and committee processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, updating policies, and participating in risk team tasks to ensure consistency and risk awareness.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information and extract critical risk elements.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to influence and advise executives.
  • Deep understanding of reputational risks, regulatory requirements, and JP Morgan best practices.
  • High integrity, common sense, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Collaborative spirit with experience in cross-functional collaboration within a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of research, due diligence, and risk assessment tools.

Preferential qualifications

  • Degree in law or a related field.
