Banking Applications Manager - Trading Operations Division

BCV is seeking a responsible employee to manage banking applications in the Market Operations division. The ideal candidate should have experience in the banking sector or with a financial software provider, as well as a solid understanding of banking applications and technologies. The ideal candidate should hold a university degree, possess strong communication skills in French and English, and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Tasks

Your responsibilities: * Actively contribute to projects that directly or indirectly impact the application(s) under your responsibility in terms of analysis, testing, and change management, and thus gain a thorough understanding of the application ecosystem, * assist users of the applications under your responsibility and thus gain a thorough understanding of business processes, * coordinate key events related to the application(s) under your responsibility (application releases, vendor relations, etc.), * Manage the production environment by continuously ensuring that the applications are functional and, where necessary, manage incidents, * Manage application settings and access, * promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying manual tasks, suggesting improvements, and implementing best practices, including automation where relevant, * participate in regulatory and technological monitoring, and anticipate changes, * participate in internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation, explanations, and operational support.

Requirements

Your profile: * Banking, university, or equivalent education (HES), * Experience in a similar position in the banking sector or at a financial software provider, * Excellent knowledge and proficiency in banking applications, knowledge of banking operations (front office, back office, compliance, accounting), * Good knowledge of technologies related to banking applications, * Curious, meticulous, service-oriented, and analytical, * Fluent in French, good command of English (B2), knowledge of German is a plus, * Swiss residency or willingness to relocate to Switzerland.
