Banking Applications Manager - Trading Operations Division
BCV is seeking a responsible employee to manage banking applications in the Market Operations division. The ideal candidate should have experience in the banking sector or with a financial software provider, as well as a strong understanding of banking applications and technologies. The ideal candidate should hold a university degree, possess strong communication skills in French and English, and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Tasks
Your responsibilities:- Actively contribute to projects that directly or indirectly impact the application(s) under your responsibility in terms of analysis, testing, and change management, and thus understand the application ecosystem,
- assist users of the applications under their responsibility and, therefore, understand the business processes,
- coordinate the various events related to the application(s) under your responsibility (application release, vendor relations, etc.),
- manage the run by continuously ensuring that applications are operational and, if necessary, handling incidents,
- manage settings and application access,
- promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying manual tasks, suggesting improvements, and implementing best practices, including automation where appropriate,
- monitor regulatory and technological developments, anticipate future trends,
- participate in internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation, explanations, and operational support.
Requirements
Votre profil :- Banking, university, or equivalent (HES) education,
- similar experience in the banking sector or at a financial software provider,
- Excellent understanding and proficiency in banking software, knowledge of banking functions (front office, back office, compliance, accounting),
- good knowledge of technologies related to banking applications,
- curiosity, attention to detail, a commitment to service, and analytical skills,
- Fluency in French, good command of English (B2), German is a plus,
- Resident in Switzerland or intention to take up residence in Switzerland
