Banking Applications Manager - Trading Operations Division
Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) is seeking a "Responsable d'applications bancaires - domaine Opérations de Marché" to take on responsibility for managing banking applications in the Opérations de Marché division and who has experience in the financial sector or a related field. The ideal candidate has a university degree and experience in the role of Application Owner or Support Applicatif in a banking or financial environment.
Tasks
- Change Management
- Coordination of production rollouts, application releases, and relationships with publishers and external data providers
- Identification, analysis, and mitigation of operational risks through the implementation of controls, monitoring mechanisms, and automation solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes by streamlining manual tasks and proposing optimizations that add significant value
- Ensuring documentation, application governance, and support during internal and external audits
Requirements
- University degree, HES, or equivalent in finance, IT management, or a related field
- Experience in a role as Application Owner, Application Manager, or Application Support Specialist at a bank, a trading platform, or a solutions provider
- Strong knowledge of financial products and front-to-back processes
- Strong skills in functional analysis, writing specifications, test management, and change management
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex incidents, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure the continuity of critical applications
- A commitment to continuous improvement, autonomy, a sense of responsibility, and customer focus
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with subject matter and technical experts
- Fluency in French and a good command of English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of German is a plus
- Residence in Switzerland or a willingness to settle permanently in Switzerland
