Banking Applications Manager - Trading Operations Division

Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) is seeking a manager to oversee the administration of banking applications within the Market Operations division. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for managing and supporting the applications used by the Market Operations department.

Tasks

* Understand the application ecosystem * Support users of the applications under your responsibility and, as a result, understand business processes * Coordinate key events related to the application under your responsibility (application releases, vendor relations, etc.) * Manage the application environment by ensuring that applications are always functional and, when necessary, managing incidents * Manage application settings and access * Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying manual tasks, suggesting improvements, and implementing best practices, including automation where appropriate * Participate in regulatory and technological monitoring, and anticipate changes * Participate in internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation, explanations, and operational support

Requirements

  • Banking, university, or equivalent education (HES)
  • Experience in the banking industry or with a financial software provider
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency in banking software, knowledge of banking operations (front office, back office, compliance, accounting)
  • Strong knowledge of technologies related to banking applications
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, customer focus, and analytical skills
  • Fluency in French, good knowledge of English (B2); German is a plus
  • Residence in Switzerland or willingness to move to Switzerland
