Banking Applications Manager - Trading Operations Division
Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) is seeking a "Banking Applications Manager" for the Market Operations team to manage and support the department’s applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating application events, managing parameters and access rights, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Tasks
- Assisting application users and understanding business operations
- Coordinating events that affect the applications (releases, supplier relationships, etc.)
- Managing operations and ensuring that applications are functioning properly, as well as managing errors and malfunctions
- Managing Parameters and Application Access
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, identifying manual tasks, proposing improvements, and implementing best practices, including automation
- Participating in the monitoring of regulatory and technological developments and anticipating changes
- Participation in internal and external audits; provision of documentation, explanations, and operational support
Requirements
- Banking education, university degree, or equivalent (HES)
- Relevant experience in the banking industry or with a financial software provider
- Excellent understanding and proficiency in banking applications, knowledge of banking operations (front office, back office, compliance, accounting)
- Strong knowledge of technologies related to banking applications
- Curiosity, precision, commitment to service, and analytical skills
- Fluency in French, good knowledge of English (B2 level); German is a plus
- Residence in Switzerland or willingness to move to Switzerland
