Head of Internal Audit for the BCV Group

BCV is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead and coordinate internal audit activities and support the Board of Directors and the Audit and Risk Committee. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking audit, relevant training, and excellent knowledge of risk management and regulation.

Head of Internal Audit for the BCV Group

Tasks

  • Internal auditing plays an essential role within the BCV Group.
  • As an independent body reporting directly to the Board of Directors (BoD) and its Audit and Risk Committee (ARC), Internal Audit is responsible in particular for:
    • contribute to the effectiveness of the internal control system,
    • regulatory and operational compliance,
    • adequate risk management and control.
  • Like a true conductor, the person in charge directs and coordinates all internal audit activities for the BCV Group.
  • It thus supports the CA and the CAR in their mission.

Requirements

  • university education in finance, economics, or management
  • in possession of a federal diploma as an expert or certified public accountant or, at a minimum, a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
  • Proven experience in internal banking auditing, in an auditing firm (financial services) or in a bank (level 2 or even level 1 bodies)
  • Excellent knowledge of the environment and applicable regulatory requirements, financial and operational ICS, risk management and control, and compliance (in particular AML/CFT, sanctions, LSFIn)
  • Very good understanding of governance issues, the business model, the risk culture of a universal banking group, operational resilience, ICT and cyber environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of the various business lines of a universal banking group, particularly in the area of lending
  • interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in French, good knowledge of German and English
  • residence in the Canton of Vaud or a neighboring canton
