Head of the Human Resources Department

Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) is seeking a Head of the Human Resources Management Team to support the department in implementing projects and processes and to assist management in running the department. The ideal candidate will have a university degree, experience in team leadership, and at least five years of experience in project design and implementation.

Tasks

- Lead the department’s internal projects with the support of the team and HR specialists, - Advise and support the HR Director in managing the department, specifically by coordinating certain activities, such as establishing and monitoring budgets and the internal control system, as well as planning and organizing internal meetings and the annual HR calendar, - Support the department head in steering, coordinating, and monitoring key HR processes (compensation, annual reviews, job re-evaluation, etc.) as well as continuous improvement processes (particularly digitalization). - Develop and manage analytical reports (KPI monitoring) and departmental activity reports, such as annual and quarterly reports, and collaborate on the drafting of CSR and annual reports. - Represent the department in various internal and external projects, assignments, and internal and external committees related to HR’s areas of activity.

Requirements

  • A college or university degree (in economics or finance).
  • First experience leading a team
  • At least 5 years of experience in structuring and leading projects related to management or consulting
  • Knowledge of human resources is a plus,
  • Excellent conceptual, operational, writing, organizational, and planning skills,
  • An outgoing person who thrives on social interaction, is agile and flexible, yet also strict, meticulous, and organized,
  • Ability to synthesize, communicate, and solve problems,
  • Excellent proficiency in standard computer programs, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.).
