Head of the Human Resources Department
The job posting describes a leadership position as Head of Staff in the Resource Management department at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV), in which the candidate will be responsible for leading a team, managing projects, and supporting the Head of Resource Management. The ideal candidate holds a university degree, has experience in team leadership, and at least 5 years of experience in project design and implementation.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for managing HR projects and HR IT tools,
- Management and development of the existing team (2 people).
- Coordinate support from the team and HR specialists, as well as internal departmental projects,
- Advise and support the HR Director in managing the department, including coordinating certain activities such as the preparation and monitoring of budgets and the internal control system, as well as planning and organizing administrative support and the annual HR calendar,
- Support the department head in managing, coordinating, and monitoring key HR processes (compensation, annual reviews, job reevaluation, etc.) as well as continuous improvement processes (particularly digitalization),
- Prepare and manage analytical reports (KPI tracking) and departmental activity reports, such as annual and quarterly reports, as well as assist in drafting CSR and annual reports,
- Represent the department in various internal and external projects, assignments, and internal and external committees related to HR functions.
Your profile:
- A college or university degree (in economics or finance),
- First experience managing a team
- At least 5 years of experience in project structuring and management in a management or consulting role
- Knowledge of human resources is a plus.
- Excellent conceptual, operational, writing, organizational, and planning skills,
- An outgoing person who is comfortable interacting with others, adaptable and flexible, yet also thorough, precise, and organized,
- Ability to synthesize information, communicate, and solve problems,
- Excellent proficiency with standard computer software, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.).
