Department Manager - Compliance Support

Tasks

• Supervise, guide, and lead a team
• Ensure the implementation of and compliance with relevant guidelines and standards regarding retail customers
• Handle all requests for clarification regarding retail customers
• Analyze and process client files and various case-related matters, in accordance with civil liability commitments
• Assess the compliance and quality of files, including their classification, in accordance with deadline requirements, both in French
• Collaborate with other managers at the Remote Advisory Center and other Bank stakeholders to ensure that objectives are met

Requirements

• University education or education deemed equivalent
• Experience in a financial or banking institution, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Proceeds of Crime Act (PCA), and economic sanctions
• Management experience: an asset
• Risk awareness and attention to detail
• Organizational skills, good management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and German; very good knowledge of English
