Head of the Digital Department

The position of "Responsable du département Digital" at BCV Bank involves managing the digital department, developing a digital strategy, and implementing a digital roadmap. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating teams, communicating with customers, and ensuring the quality of digital services.

Job description: Head of the Digital Department

Tasks

  • manage the Digital Department within the framework of the mission and objectives set by the Bank, while respecting the allocated resources and budget,
  • Develop and propose the digital strategy to decision-making bodies, in line with the Bank's overall strategy.
  • define and oversee the implementation of the Bank's digital roadmap, in conjunction with the relevant divisions,
  • monitor technological developments, identify and select major developments, and provide regular market insights to senior management,
  • Be the point of contact within the Bank for issues related to the use of digital channels by customers, particularly in the context of projects or developments that directly or indirectly impact remote channels or the customer journey in the broadest sense.
  • Ensure the availability of remote channels for all customers and guarantee their regular upgrading to respond to both technical developments and changes in customer expectations.
  • ensure effective follow-up of incidents and customer complaints.

Requirements

  • higher education (HEC, EPF, or equivalent),
  • ability to define a digital roadmap aligned with the Bank's strategy,
  • mastery of agile development methodologies,
  • Proven expertise in digital architectures and related front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Very good knowledge/understanding of the banking sector and its digital challenges (e-banking, mobile banking, payments, etc.).
  • strong sensitivity to the quality of service delivered to end users,
  • Proven experience in team leadership,
  • interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and excellent analytical and synthesis skills,
  • Fluent in French, very good knowledge of English and German.
