Credit Support Manager - Department Head

The position of "Credit Support Manager" at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) involves managing a department of approximately 40 people and overseeing credit administration, including quality assurance and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in economics or finance, experience in team leadership and project management, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Tasks

* Effectively manage the department (approx. 40 employees), * Ensure that all types of loans granted by the Bank are recorded in the IT systems, guaranteeing data quality, * Oversee the fulfillment of obligations related to contingent liabilities, * Ensure the flawless processing and safekeeping of collateral provided as security, * Monitor loan transactions through to the processing of their repayment, * Provide various entities (internal and external) with statistics and reports related to the credit sector, * Optimize processes and develop the tools under the department’s responsibility, * Monitor regulatory changes, analyze their impacts, and, if necessary, lead projects related to these changes.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree or higher (in business or finance), * Excellent understanding of credit-related processes, * Experience in team leadership and project management, * Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills, * Very strong written skills in French, and very good knowledge of English and German.
