Credit Support Manager - Department Head

Job description

The Credit Support Department is responsible for recording all of the Bank's loans in its IT systems, as well as for managing hedges. It is also responsible for the operation and continuous improvement of the credit back-office processes and tools.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Effective management of the department (approx. 40 people)
• Ensuring data quality when entering all types of loans into computer systems
• Monitoring the performance of services related to contingent liabilities
• Ensuring the error-free processing and safekeeping of the collateral posted as security
• Tracking loans through the repayment process
• Providing statistics and reports to various units (internal and external) related to the credit department
• Optimization of processes and further development of tools under the department's responsibility
• Monitoring regulatory developments, analyzing their implications, and, where appropriate, managing projects related to these developments

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• college or higher education (business or finance)
• Excellent understanding of the processes related to loans
• Experienced team leadership and project management
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills
• Excellent written skills in French, excellent knowledge of English and German
