RI Implementation and Oversight Analyst

Tasks

The role of the RI Implementation and Oversight Analyst involves supporting and assisting the Head of RI Policy and Implementation in developing and monitoring Man Group’s RI reporting framework, maintaining and improving RI processes, and ensuring their integration into investment strategies. Specific responsibilities include:

• Support for the monitoring and implementation of Man's RI fund categorization framework
• Assistance with the development and maintenance of the RI framework, including the Sustainable Investment Policy, Good Governance Policy, and PAI Policy
• Ensuring that the investment teams are aware of the RI frameworks and guidelines within which they operate
• Support in managing the semi-annual Principal Adverse Impact (PAI) Assessment process
• Assist with the annual structured review of RI funds, including interviews with the investment team and document reviews, to ensure ongoing compliance with and adherence to the RI framework
• Management of the investment monitoring process through which portfolio managers can formally challenge sustainability disclosures
• Review of Man's Issuer RI Exclusion List every six months
• Presentation of findings and recommendations to the Exclusions Subcommittee for review and formal approval

Requirements

The following requirements are necessary:

• Bachelor's-level education
• CFA, CAIA, ESG CFA, or equivalent (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of sustainability regulations and their intersection with investment management, both in writing and orally
• A good understanding of investment management
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
