Tasks

• Reporting functionally and administratively to the Chief Risk Officer
• Assist in the review of customer transactions (payments) and related documentation, as well as the tracking of customer transaction monitoring alerts and clarification of account documentation
• Assist in the regular and/or ad-hoc review of client accounts/relationships
• Assist the Chief Risk Officer in the preparation of certain regular risk reports and in the performance of certain risk management tasks
• Support the two EFSB CROs and the Executive Committee in compliance and other administrative and operational matters
• Assist the Executive Committee with (internal and external) audit matters as required
• In the absence of the Customer Support Officer supporting the EFSB CROs, provide support to the CROs
• Support with office administration

Requirements

• Good knowledge of private banking transactions, internal controls (including fraud risk) and regulatory requirements (AML, sanctions, suitability, cross-border transactions, market integrity)
• Good knowledge of the risks associated with private banking
• Adaptability to the bank's IT systems and Microsoft Office suites
• Judgment with a good common sense for risk assessment and skepticism as well as a sense of responsibility, a rigorous and substantive approach to performing controls
• Mid-level professional with experience in private banking, bank internal controls and/or bank internal/external audits (on risk and regulatory matters)
• Flexibility, ability to integrate and interact with a team spirit, given the size of the unit, and ability to communicate effectively with other parts of the EFG organization
