Risk Automation Lead

The role

We are looking for an experienced technologist with a strong quantitative and technical background to drive automation and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) within the ARN, Risk, and Portfolio Risk teams. The role focuses on building tools and automating processes to make risk processes more scalable and efficient.

Key aspects of the role

- Identify and automate manual processes within the ARN, Risk, and Portfolio Risk teams, with a focus on leveraging AI to drive efficiency gains - Develop and enhance risk models, analytical tools, and reporting infrastructure using Python - Contribute to the development of Man Group’s risk framework, including internal risk models and code - Foster a strong risk culture and provide first-line defense across all functions

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in financial markets or quantitative roles - Knowledge of financial markets across all major asset classes - Knowledge of programming languages and experience integrating LUMs into workflows - Strong Python and analytical skills - Advanced Python scripting/programming skills - Excellent communication skills - Very strong academic background, including a master’s degree or equivalent in a highly mathematical field
