Risk Controller

Incore Bank is seeking a Risk Controller (full-time) for its Risk Control & ICS department in Schlieren, who will be responsible for performing risk control activities and further developing risk monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a similar role and strong expertise in risk control.

Tasks

  • Ensuring daily and periodic risk control activities
  • Design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of appropriate risk monitoring systems
  • Further development of processes, reports, and documentation in the areas of risk control and the internal control system (ICS)
  • Development of training programs and delivery of internal training sessions on risk and ICS topics
  • Preparation of reports tailored to the needs of the management and the board of directors
  • Active participation in projects involving risk-related issues (e.g., audits, new products)

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a similar role at a smaller bank or in management consulting
  • Banking training with further education in risk management and/or a college or university degree with a focus on banking
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in risk control, ideally with a focus on internal control systems

Your strengths

  • Extensive knowledge of risk control and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., LCR, NSFR, leverage ratio, capital requirements under Basel III/IV)
  • A solid understanding of the regulatory framework (FINMA regulations and circulars)
  • In-depth understanding of banking processes, as well as experience in visualizing and documenting them within the context of the internal control system
  • Familiarity with internal bank processes and, preferably, experience with banking systems such as Finovaa or FIBE
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
