Risk Expert, IB [Audit]

Your role

Are you a sharp risk assessor who enjoys analyzing complex business processes and products? Do you want to play a key role in improving the effectiveness of business-critical processes to help safeguard and strengthen UBS? We are looking for a Risk Expert or Auditor who:

• Plans, conducts, and oversees audits, issue assurance, and risk assessment reviews in accordance with our internal standards, which are fully supported by the work performed.
• Highlights where controls are working well or where UBS needs to take action to better manage current and emerging risks, and appropriately escalates any significant concerns or issues.
• Meets our internal standards for the quality, performance, and documentation of assurance engagements, taking into account expectations regarding the coverage of legal entities where necessary.
• Works proactively and effectively with colleagues within and across audit teams.
• Builds and maintains constructive relationships with colleagues and relevant stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
• Continuously assesses the risk profile of the relevant UBS investment banking transactions.

You will be working in the investment bank's Equities and Fixed-Income Derivatives Trading division.

Your expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent
• Four or more years of experience in the financial sector
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to quickly grasp complex issues
• Willingness to engage with the industry and its developments
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ideally, familiarity with data analysis
