Risk Manager
Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is seeking a Risk Manager to help manage risks and contribute to the monitoring, analysis, and control of the bank’s risks. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in a similar environment and a strong interest in risk management.

- Assisting in the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of risks at the bank level - Calculating key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitoring their development - Assisting in the preparation of dashboards and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors - Supporting the maintenance of internal policies and procedures related to risk management and the internal control system - Actively contributing to the maintenance and improvement of an adequate internal control system (ICS) - Reviewing the adequacy and effectiveness of first-line controls as part of the second line of defense - Collaborating with front-, middle-, and back-office teams and promoting a risk and control culture among employeesRequirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in a similar environment - Strong interest in risk management, internal controls, and Swiss banking regulations (FINMA, Basel Framework, SBA, etc.) - Good understanding of financial statements and banking processes - Analytical skills & Excel proficiency (pivot tables, Power Query); SQL/Power BI/Tableau a plus; VBA/Python/R a plus - Attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical thinking, strong communication and persuasion skills, and excellent written communication skills - Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and an interest in numbers as well as banking, financial, and regulatory developments - Ability to work independently, teamwork skills, and flexibility - Good German skills and excellent French skillsWe offer you
