Risk and Performance Analyst

Job Profile Summary

• The candidate will report to the Director of Risk and provide timely, accurate risk assessments and ensure public accountability.
• Mar Group employs a multi-sector strategy to reduce fees, calculate risk-reward ratios, identify and manage risk, and deliver best-in-class investment returns through our investment approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk analysis of trade book valuations, long/short positions, and risk management to reduce fees. Many of these reports are generated monthly.
• Engage in the preparation of the visual and physical representation of the performance of an analyzed product.
• Prepare reports and recommendations on risk. Many of these reports are generated monthly.
• The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of hedge fund fundamentals and will analyze their impact on performance, while collaborating closely with other members of the team.
• Ensure timely and accurate maintenance to enhance quality, the value of the hedge, and other performance metrics; be an excellent problem solver, proactive, and able to work meticulously and with precision

Compensations

• The compensation package for this position is listed below. Our compensation package also includes benefits and a discretionary bonus.
• This position reports directly to the Head of Operations and will play a key role in supporting the operations team as it manages a growing, demanding business.
• USD 100,000–120,000
