Risk and Performance Analyst

Tasks

• Participation in a broader range of fund risk assessments, including UCITS, credit, and managed futures, for two or more funds held by clients of M&G Group companies
• Providing insight into the customer's overall situation, as well as the performance of our product portfolio and individual products, contribution analysis, and attribution
• Providing reports at regular intervals to the Investment Management Team, the Asset Management Team, clients, brokers, fund managers, our Sygnal Risk Team, and compliance teams regarding performance status and solutions
• Participated in the design and development of new financial methodologies to support trading algorithms, performance, and risk audits; contributed two volumes to the "Maintenance" series, which compiles capital market procedures and standards/regulations for trading practices for the company, with the goal of establishing standardized methods across the entire organization

Requirements

• Degree in finance with 1–5 years of relevant investment experience
• A solid understanding of one (or more) research areas
• Strong understanding of the investment management process; strong analytical skills; coding experience preferred
• Excellence in statistical analysis is essential for managing the quality of tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders throughout the company
• Accurate and attentive to detail, with the ability to manage large workloads simultaneously
• Significant interest in the field of performance analysis

General and Administrative Responsibilities

• The expected general initial conditions may be as outlined. Circumstances may change, and the details should be adjusted accordingly.
• The role and responsibilities apply for up to 12 months from the date you join the company, after which you will apply for the position of your choice within the group on a full-time basis, depending on the position and responsibilities.
• Your mobile employment contract will be valid for the same period.
