Risk and Performance Analyst

The Risk & Performance Analyst supports the team in analyzing and reporting performance data and risks within the company. The position is part of the Career Returner Program, which offers people who have taken a career break of at least 24 months the opportunity to re-enter the workforce.

Risk & Performance Analyst (Career Returner Program) in London.

Tasks

The core function of the team is to support the design, ongoing management, execution, and evaluation of performance metrics and attribution analysis for our entire product offering. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Creation of performance metrics for internal and external use
  • Support in preparing and reviewing performance reports and customer performance
  • Calculation of exposure and metrics to support the top 10 holdings
  • Contribution to the creation and production of competition and peer group analyses and reports
  • Participation in the preparation and approval of the company's contribution to the quarterly regulatory report

Requirements

Key competencies include:
  • Analytical mindset - strong quantitative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Problem-solving approach—the ability to analyze information, ask questions, and work collaboratively
  • Investment knowledge - Knowledge of the investment industry
  • Advanced Excel skills - strong Excel skills are essential for this role, including experience with complex formulas, data manipulation and analysis, and the ability to quickly adapt to new functions
  • Curious and proactive—ready to take on responsibility and ownership, with support from an experienced team
  • Strong communication skills—the ability to build constructive working relationships with colleagues
  • Interest in financial markets—some knowledge of financial markets or investment vehicles is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training on our products and processes will be provided
