Job Description

Job title: Risk Solutions Lawyer (Vice President)

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Working closely with the Risk Solutions business to structure, negotiate, and execute credit-linked hedging, deal-contingent transactions, novations, and other ancillary hedging arrangements and documentation such as equity commitment letters and novations.
• Familiarity with documentation, including ISDA master agreements, intercreditor agreements, facilities agreements, deal contingent long form confirmations, and introducer agreements.
• Strong experience in advising on financial link secured hedging and FX and interest rate deal contingent transactions.
• Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing hedging rights and obligations in credit agreements and intercreditor agreements in leveraged finance and infrastructure financing structures.
• Analysis and advising of internal stakeholders on legal risks.
• Facilitation and execution of transactions from the structuring phase to execution, in partnership with the front office business.
• Work on projects within the legal department, with access to senior legal management and representation of the legal department in various internal projects, both within EMEA and across regions.

Requirements

The requirements include:

• English lawyer with experience in a transactional department of a law firm or in an in-house legal department specializing in derivatives and structured transactions.
