Risk Solutions Lawyer (Vice President)

Job Description

The position of Risk Solutions Lawyer (Vice President) involves supporting the Risk Solutions business in structuring, negotiating, and executing credit-related hedging transactions, deal-contingent transactions, novations, and other ancillary hedging transactions, as well as documentation such as equity commitment letters and novations.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Close collaboration with the Risk Solutions business in structuring, negotiating, and executing credit-related hedging transactions, deal-contingent transactions, novations, and other ancillary hedging transactions
• Familiarity with documentation, including ISDA master agreements, intercreditor agreements, facilities agreements, deal contingent lex and corporate state confirmations, and introduce agreements
• Extensive experience in advising on finance-related, secured hedging transactions and FX and interest rate contingent transactions
• Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing security rights and obligations in credit agreements and intercreditor agreements in the context of leveraged finance and infrastructure financing structures
• Analysis and advising of internal stakeholders on legal risks
• Execution of transactions from structuring to execution in partnership with the front office business
• Work on projects within the legal department with access to senior legal management and representation of the legal department in various internal projects, both within EMEA and across regions

Requirements

The requirements include:

• English lawyer with experience in a transactional department of a law firm or in an in-house legal department specializing in derivatives and structured transactions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
