Job description
Tasks
- Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable for Vontobel companies
- Processing, authorizing, and reviewing invoices, orders, and expenses in accordance with company policies and ensuring timely payment of amounts due
- Reconciliation of accounts payable to identify inappropriate charges
- Processing incoming payments and allocating them to customer accounts
- Active contribution to the global rollout of SAP S/4HANA for the Vontobel Group and helping to shape future financial processes and controls
Requirements
- Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, CH-GAAP) and their interpretation in the banking sector
- Experience in accounting/purchase-to-pay software (especially SAP S/4 HANA and Basware) is an advantage
- Higher business education (university, university of applied sciences) or commercial degree with subject-related further training in accounting (e.g., Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance and Accounting, Fiduciary with Swiss Federal Certificate)
- Level of team spirit, initiative, and self-organization
- Structured, independent, and precise working style with high quality standards
- Fluent in German and English
