Claims Specialist, Animalia Dog and Cat Insurance (m/f/d, 80–100%)
Vaudoise is seeking a claims adjuster for its dog and cat insurance division, ideally with a Federal Vocational Diploma (EFZ) as a veterinary practice assistant. The position involves independently handling insurance claims and interacting with customers, and is offered on a hybrid basis in Bern or Lausanne.
Tasks
- Sort and prioritize incoming mail
- Independent and proactive handling of cases through to resolution, including: opening claims files, reviewing the facts of the case, requesting additional documents or supporting evidence if the file is incomplete, verifying the scope of coverage, calculating the amount of benefits due, and finally issuing the payment order
- Answering customer inquiries (written and verbal)
- Contact with our medical examiner and veterinary practices or clinics
Requirements
- EFZ as a veterinary practice assistant
- Native-level proficiency in German
- Independent, dynamic, and analytical thinker
- Feeling Comfortable Dealing with Priorities and Deadlines
