Tasks

• Responsible for advising, mentoring, and coaching executives and teams as they implement teamwork through collaboration, continuous improvement, learning, and trust.
• Implementation of industry best practices for financial services. Escalation governance / Involvement of top management.
• Leading continuous process improvement and quality processes for delivery.
• Coaching teams on agile methods and practices in Scrum and Kanban (e.g., planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.).
• Responsible for the development and implementation/harmonization of an appropriately comprehensive quality management process.
• Understanding, breaking down, organizing, documenting, and communicating requirements, use cases, and change requests from various business units (a key requirement for a global bank).
• Proactive strategic advice on new technical solutions for services and products.
• Analysis of the detailed technical capabilities of IT service provider solutions.
• Collaborate with senior IT stakeholders; build strategic partnerships; and plan the allocation and management of teams and resources across multiple business units.
• Defining and managing the architecture and technology roadmap, creating architecture specifications, and evaluating the architecture.

Requirements

• Fluent or nearly fluent in a mix of written and spoken English and German.
• Experience as a Product Owner or in managing complex projects / leading technical teams.
• Experience in mentoring, advising, and coaching executives and teams on the implementation of agile work practices.
• Experience in value stream management and various process improvement methods.
• Experienced Agile/Release Manager and Coach for the ITJ/QA team, or experience in a quality management role within a Scrum environment.
• At least approximately 5 years of experience as an IT Delivery Lead with a focus on the banking sector and related technical knowledge.
• Functional knowledge and experience in designing technical solutions.
• Preferably with experience working with large, complex matrix team structures.
• Proven experience in leading requirements analyses and impact analyses for large-scale projects.
• Strong computer science skills (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, etc.).
• Work experience in the SDLC and agile methodologies (SAFe preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including technical writing and the ability to simplify complex problems.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, hardworking, and agile enough to work both independently and as a team player.
• Very high quality standards for the service provided to business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple concurrent priorities while paying attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, strong team players with a passion for training.
• Strong business acumen and a service-oriented mindset, with a focus on building corporate relationships and a solid track record.
• Proven track record in customer relations (internal/external).
• Proven experience in leading and managing agile teams across various fields.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team, manage stakeholders, and manage expectations throughout the complex project lifecycle.
• A proven ability to handle diverse and often complex requirements, track progress, and scrutinize complex programs while providing strong leadership.
