Securities Accounting Specialist - Financial Assets and Trading Book 100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Contribution to the assessment and definition of accounting requirements for new banking products from a financial accounting perspective, in accordance with local standards and IFRS, including the development of appropriate accounting logic
• Active support and representation of securities accounting in ongoing projects, particularly with regard to core banking and trading infrastructure
• Joint responsibility for the implementation of newly introduced accounting regulations
• Active support in the operational management of securities accounting and in the preparation of relevant reports for the annual report in accordance with local standards and IFRS
• Analysis, specification, and continuous optimization of existing business processes
• Conducting employee training and creating user documentation, mainly in English
• Technical support for financial accounting for international locations worldwide
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards and regulations

Requirements

• Training in finance or business administration
• Several years of professional experience in securities accounting
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, particularly in the area of securities, is required.
• Proven experience with T24 or comparable core banking systems is required.
• A solid understanding of IFRS and RVI (Swiss banking law) is an advantage.
• Proven project experience in SAP and practical experience with SAP are advantageous.
