Securities Accounting Specialist - Financial Assets and Trading Book

Tasks

As a Securities Accounting Specialist - Financial Assets and Trading Book, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Support and representation of securities accounting in ongoing projects, particularly in the areas of core banking and trading infrastructure
• Joint responsibility for implementing new accounting-related regulations
• Support in the operational management of securities accounting and in the preparation of the relevant reports for the annual report in accordance with local standards and IFRS
• Analysis, specification, and continuous optimization of existing business processes
• Conducting employee training and creating user documentation, primarily in English
• Provision of expertise in the field of financial accounting for international locations worldwide
• Ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Education in finance or business administration
• Several years of professional experience in securities accounting
• Deep understanding of banking products, especially in the area of securities
• Proven experience with T24 or comparable core banking systems
• A basic understanding of IFRS and RVI (Swiss banking GAAP) is an advantage.
• Proven project experience in SAP and practical application of SAP are advantageous.
