Securities Lending Sales Specialist

Job description

The role involves promoting and supporting the bank's securities lending business, working closely with colleagues in the securities lending and trading divisions in Zurich, gaining a detailed understanding of the securities lending process, and developing a solid understanding of the broader business in Asia and the Middle Eastern markets.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with customers
• Developing customized solutions to meet clients' financial needs
• Regular dialogue with front-line representatives to understand customer needs and requirements and ensure that the products and services offered remain relevant and competitive
• Supporting the team in promoting structured products

Requirements

The requirements include:

• 7 years or more of experience in private banking, particularly in the area of securities lending
• An understanding of how custody services work, particularly with regard to processes and design architecture in the ever-shorter trade settlement cycles
• A college degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong understanding of the use of electronic pricing tools and trading systems
• Strong business acumen, a keen business sense, and a broad understanding of financial markets and products

Regulatory requirements

The regulatory requirements include:

• MAS-licensed representative
• CACS 1 & 2, FMRR, RES 12B, CM-EIP, and CM-SIP or CM-CMP
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations and requirements in Singapore and Hong Kong
• Understanding of cross-border rules and regulations
