The role of Securities Lending Sales Specialist involves promoting and supporting the bank’s securities lending business, working closely with colleagues in Securities Lending Sales & Trading in Zurich, as well as having a detailed understanding of the securities lending process and a solid grasp of the broader business in Asia and the Middle East.Tasks
The tasks include:- Promotion and Support of Banking Activities in the Securities Lending Sector
- Close collaboration with colleagues in Securities Lending Sales & Trading in Zurich
- Regular dialogue with frontline representatives to understand customer needs and requirements
- Supporting the team in promoting structured products
Requirements
The requirements include:- 7 or more years of experience in private banking, particularly in the area of securities lending
- Understanding of how custody services work, particularly with regard to processes and design architecture in the context of ever-shorter trade settlement cycles
- A college degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the use of electronic pricing tools and trading systems
- Strong business acumen, a keen sense of business, and a broad understanding of financial markets and products
Regulatory requirements
The regulatory requirements include:- MAS-licensed representative
- CACS 1 & 2, FRM, RES 12B, CM-SIP, and CM-SIP or CM-CMP
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and requirements in Singapore and Hong Kong
- Understanding of cross-border rules and regulations
