Securitization Products Trader

Tasks

• Trading and investment in agency MBS, CMOs, and other securitized products.
• Conducting research and developing alpha for various strategies.
• Implementation of methodologies for hedging, managing liquidity and risks, and identifying opportunities.
• Involving customers in the evaluation of prices, including anomalous results.
• Providing the communication skills needed to interpret syndicate micro-events within a challenging framework.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of bond experience in agency MBS, CMOs, and other securitized products or loans in the wholesale market.
• Interest in high-volume markets.
• A degree in a related field (e.g., finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science).
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and programming.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work in both automation and sales.
• Strong analytical skills, the ability to gather market data, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interpreting syndicated micro-events within a challenging framework.
