Securitized Products Trader

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute trades in agency MBS, CMOs, and other structured products.
• Daily trade execution and market analysis through various channels.
• Build relationships with counterparties to gather market intelligence, monitor flows, and identify opportunities.
• Work with PMs and quants to evaluate pricing and refine models.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with teams and manage multiple priorities.

Desired Qualifications

• 5–10 years of trading experience in agency MBS and CMOs (as well as other structured products), with a proven track record of high-volume execution.
• In-depth knowledge of analytical characteristics, deal/payoff models, and various analytics software (Bloomberg, Yieldbook, Intex, etc.).
• A quantitative degree (in mathematics, computer science, engineering, etc.), with an understanding of how to apply AI-driven tools and automation to trading, execution analysis, market intelligence, and workflow optimization.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate complex concepts within a quantitative framework.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 USD. The compensation package also includes benefits and a variable bonus.
