Tasks:

• Works with management and the architecture team to develop the security strategy and plan to ensure objectives are met.
• Provides leadership and guidance to employees, fosters an environment that encourages employee involvement, teamwork and communication.
• Participate in Architecture Review Boards and support teams in creating secure designs.
• Evaluates proposals to determine if proposed security solutions effectively meet the organization's needs.
• Demonstrates a balanced, cross-functional perspective, communicates with the organization to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
• Works with the Enterprise Security Architecture team to develop security blocks and patterns.
• Has a good understanding of vulnerability management.
• Communicates frequently with information security industry groups to stay abreast of new security trends.
• Focuses on the execution of the strategic direction of business activities.
• Identifies alternative functional security strategies to address organizational IT security concerns.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of network architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components and application of defense-in-depth principles.
• Broad technical experience in multiple cyber security domains.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture patterns, requirements and security controls.
• Strong knowledge of security controls such as authentication, authorization, data security, IAM.
• Strong knowledge of threat modeling frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience in conducting secure code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical and non-technical concepts in verbal and written products.
