Security consulting, cloud and application security
LGT is looking for a Security Consultant to advise project and product teams on cloud and application security issues and develop workflows and scripts for scaling recurring security processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT security engineering, security operations, or network engineering and in-depth knowledge in at least two areas such as network security or cloud security.
Your area of responsibility
Security consulting, cloud and application security- Advising project and product teams as a security consultant, including translating requirements into appropriate architectural, design, and implementation recommendations
- Development of workflows and scripts for scaling recurring security processes and maintenance of high-quality technical and procedural documentation
Your profile
Technical / professional- Degree in computer science/IT or comparable training with several years of experience in IT security engineering, security operations, or network engineering
- In-depth knowledge in at least two of the following areas: network security, endpoint security, cloud security (Azure/AWS), identity and access management, or SIEM (SOC/IR)/incident response
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, endpoint protection (DLP and PAM solutions), breach-and-attack simulation, as well as scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
