Security Engineer for Internet Proxy and Remote Access, APAC (100%)

Tasks

• Participate in the design, standardization, and general deployment of Julia Baer services, leveraging end-to-end expertise.
• Design and development of technically complex projects (including compatibility requirements for RDSGKT), definition of the service platform using the latest programming languages (e.g., RDS, K8s, Terraform) and DevOps tools (e.g., CICD, GitLab, Terraform, and release automation).
• Maintenance and support of compliance-related user experience (UX) or components for RDSGKT.
• Assuming an advisory role and participating in the design of the security architecture (e.g., in addition to the design and general provision of Julia Baer services with end-to-end expertise).
• Supporting the security of secure IT asset management, including the creation of backups.
• Collaborate with fourth-party providers and/or partners to develop the integration of product management and define external security solutions, processes, and tools for the IT company.
• Managed incident resolution for enterprise applications; served as a 1st-tier TIRT team member by conducting analyses using the appropriate ITIL v4 incident management methodology.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with external cybersecurity providers.
• Ensuring that internal proxy and remote access solutions are fully compliant with Julia Baer's information security policy.
• Collaboration with internal and external audit departments—incorporating relevant regulatory and business requirements as well as legal updates.
• Development and implementation of vulnerability management processes, using various security tools to scan for and identify vulnerabilities and determine how to address them.
• Understanding and continuously improving business requirements.
• Ongoing development in the field of information security: monitoring, evaluating, and implementing the latest IT security trends.
• Managing the implementation of information security policies; collaborating with and liaising with internal and external security experts.
• Monitoring and logging of incidents using appropriate technical measures (SOC, detection, alerting, response).
• Tracking, implementing, and documenting major releases and changes to Julia Baer's platforms.
• Providing operational support and troubleshooting for operational and performance issues.
• Developing solutions to reduce the number of vulnerabilities in systems and assisting other developers in resolving challenges in the code or architectural design.
• Continuous improvement of Infrastructure as Code and workflows to enhance the platform.
• Design and development of new security guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with the information security team to ensure the security of information systems.
• Monitoring the use of infrastructure and services.
• Providing support for users and developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (university) in IT or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on IT service security.
• Experience in the design, analysis, development, and implementation of software security solutions.
